The San Joaquin County EEDD provides employment training, education and economic development services throughout the County. To encapsulate the varied economic development and workforce programs the EEDD created the “WorkNet” brand to promote a one-stop delivery mechanism to benefit employers and job seekers.

This program offers wage reimbursement to employers for hiring and training employees. WorkNet pre-screens all applicants to ensure that they meet the desire qualification of the position(s) being recruited. The program is free and helps employers save money by reducing the cost for recruitment, cuts the time and expense of applicant screening, and offsets the cost of training new employees.
